The Statesmen went 3-1 at the Liberty League Championship, finishing second overall. The Herons were 3-0 at the conference tournament and won the Liberty League tournament title. Prior to HWS, Cosquer spent 11 years as the head coach of Bates men's and women's squash teams. In his time in Lewiston, Maine, he guided the Bates squash teams to a combined record of 309-200. Cosquer mentored eight All-Americans, a two-time College Squash Association Individual Champion, five NESCAC Players of the Year, three NESCAC Rookies of the Year, and 51 All-NESCAC performers. He was named the NESCAC's men's coach of the year twice (2010 and 2016) and the women's coach of the year once (2010). At the CSA Team National Championships, Cosquer guided the Bates men's team to a championship in the Summers Cup (C Division) in 2016 and the women's team to championships in 2016, 2018 and 2019 in the Walker Cup (C Division). Prior to his time at Bates, Cosquer served as the Director of Squash Programs and Community Service at StreetSquash. StreetSquash is an after-school enrichment program in Harlem, N.Y., which combines academic tutoring, community service and mentoring and college preparation with squash instruction. Over his four years with StreetSquash, Cosquer coached the four-time Girls Under 17/19 National Urban Team Champions, the three-time Boys Under 17/19 National Urban Individual Champion, the 2008 Boys Under 17/19 National Urban Team Champion and several nationally ranked juniors while helping to increase his teams' academic average by 10 points. She graduated from F&M in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health. Alongside her coaching career, Lauren competes on the Squash Doubles Association (SDA) tour. Lauren holds a master’s degree in Public Health and Policy from Thomas Jefferson University. She is passionate about Public Health and works to destigmatize substance use and mental health challenges in athletics. Lauren is committed to increasing diversity in the sport. He was introduced to squash as a reporter/research analyst for the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial in 1981 and played at the Capital Hill Club. A 30-yr member of the University Club of Chicago, he now plays at MetroSquash, Northwestern University and Arizona’s Village Racquet & Health Clubs. Since college, Drammeh has worked in the education and financial services field and is a Solutions Engineer for Pinterest. She is an officer of the Bates’ Benjamin Mays Black Alumni Society and a Board Member of Squash Dreamers. An England Squash Level 2 coach with 18 years of experience on three continents, Xaba was, most recently, the Director of Squash and Athletics at the University Club of San Francisco and, previously, an assistant coach at Dartmouth College. As the Director of Athletics at the University Club of San Francisco since 2012, Xaba has grown the game in the San Francisco area, more than doubling the club's membership over the past five years while developing strong competitive junior and adult squash programs through the organization of tournaments, leagues and clinics. He also supported junior players with the college recruitment process. Outside of the courts, Xaba advises and serves as a member of the development committee for SquashDrive, a nonprofit urban squash program focusing on the academics, wellness and character development of underserved youth in Oakland,Calif. Prior to his time in San Francisco, Xaba spent six years coaching at the collegiate level, as an assistant for two top-10, nationally ranked programs at Dartmouth College and as the head coach of the men's club squash team at the University of California, Berkeley. A former national champion in his native Zimbabwe, Xaba rose through the junior ranks during his playing career and helped the national team finish 15th overall at the under-19 Junior Men's World Championships in 2000.
